Offical Logos

These are the Official Logos of Choctawhatchee High School. Many of the older logos are lost. If you have any Choctaw Gear from the "old days" that has Choctawhatchee logos which are not included on this page, please photograph them and send them to us so we can preserve these important parts of Choctaw's history.

In 2008 a new CHS logo was created by Lee Hale.
     
 
Diamond Logo. Introduced in 1999. Adopted by most athletic teams as logo of choice.
  This is the "Running Indian" logo used on the back of Letterman jackets. It has also been adopted as the offical logo of the Choctaw Basketball Team. Notice the original version embedded in the Josten's logo to the left.
     
 
Originally created as the official artwork of the class of '77, this painting has been given logo status and been placed on the information sign adjacent to Racetrack Road. It is the most prominent feature as you enter Big Green Territory.
  Diamond-Arrowhead Logo. Logo created primarily for website construction. Popularity has increased as a result of use on Aviation Club T-shirt pocket.
     
 
This is the Official School Logo created by the Josten's Company expressly for Choctaw High School. It is one of two commissioned pieces of art done by this company. The other appears when you place your mouse over the first.
  Indian Chief Logo created by Alumnus Faculty Member Lee Hale and modeled after logo concept art of the University of North Dakota. Used as sleeve logo for Baseball Team since 1999.
     
 
Colorized version of traditional Chief's Headdress logo.
  Original Chief's Headdress Logo used as official insignia on Spirit Items during the 70's, 80's, and 90's and even continuing today. Spirit Items bearing this logo have included plastic drinking cups, seat cushions, megaphones, replica footballs and others.
     
 
Traditional Stylemarcher Logo. The Choctaw Band's Official Logo.   This the official logo of Choctawhatchee High School's 50th Anniversary Celebration. This logo was offically commissioned by the school. It was created by Class Artist, E.J. Nieves.
