Programs

Advanced Placement - The College Board’s Advanced Placement Program enables students to pursue college-level studies while in high school. Based on their performance on rigorous AP examinations, students can earn credit, advanced
placement, or both, for college.
   
Aviation - Choctawhatchee High School has partnered with the number one aeronautical university in the world, Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, in order to provide students with a concurrent enrollment model which offers high school and college credit, and early admissions to ERAU.
   
Avid - AVID is a program designed to prepare underachieving students with high academic potential for entrance to four-year universities and colleges. AVID selectively targets students whose academic performance has historically been “in the middle.”
Engineering - The goal of the UWF/CHS pre-engineering program is to develop skills in students that will help them to be successful not only in college, but in life.
   
International Baccalaureate - The International Baccalaureate program is a rigorous pre-university course of study that meets the needs of the highly motivated secondary school student. Designed as a comprehensive curriculum that allows its graduates to fulfill requirements of the various national systems of education, the IB program is based on the pattern of no single country.
   
ROTC - The AFJROTC program has four main goals: instilling citizenship, service to the United States of America , personal responsibility and a sense of accomplishment in high school students.
