Joe Etheredge Stadium Renovation Project

Joe Etheredge Stadium, Home of the Indians and Vikings since 1966 is getting a facelift.

"Our House"

What an exciting time for students and staff of Choctawhatchee High School!

As we look to the future and plan for upcoming generations of students we must examine our needs and find ways to keep our programs and campus fresh and appealing for all who will come here. Our stadium is old and needs a facelift. For the first time in school history, Joe Etheredge Stadium is truly home of the Big Green Indians. This has generated momentum for the school and for a facelift to the stadium. We would like your help to continue the momentum and give our students and community beautiful facilities that everyone deserves.

Our plans include a plaza entrance with new fencing and brick columns (pictured), new ticket booths, new concession stands, new press box, a new updated scoreboard, and new reserved seating with backs on the seats.

Tradition is strong and we have the proudest alumni in the country. As a valued member of the Choctaw Community or a former Big Green Indian you can be instrumental in creating this legacy for our students.

We are asking our patrons, alumni, parents, community members and all other stakeholders to join us in the endeavor.

Go Green!
Cindy Massarelli-Gates, Principal
