The
Okaloosa Council School District Minority Council chapters held their
first district wide Black & White Ball on Saturday, February 16 at
the Niceville Community Center. The Ball was attended by all Minority
Council members and parents in the county.
The attire was semi formal black and white, and each chapter was formally
introduced by their sponsor.
The following school chapters were introduced:
Choctawhatchee, Crestview, Fort Walton Beach, Laurel Hill, Niceville,
Bruner, Pryor, Richbourg and Ruckel. Superintendent, Dr. Alexis Tibbetts,
Mrs. Massarelli-Gates and several other principals attended the Ball
to show their support to the students and to the new Minority Council
initiative.
