Guidance will be closed during Spring Break (Mar 29-Apr 2). If you need transcripts or letters of recommendation during this time period, please plan ahead. All requests for letters of recommendation should be submitted to teachers/guidance counselors by Monday, March 22. All requests for transcripts should be turned into Guidance by noon, on Wednesday, March 24.

Kim McCarthy, (Eng. Dept.) and Carol Webster, (Math Dept.) have both attained National Board Teacher Certification status.  There are now 13 Choctaw teachers with this national designation.

Student journalist, Asha Kennedy, a senior on the Smoke Signals newspaper staff, covered the visit by First Lady Michelle Obama on Oct. 15 at Eglin AFB. Mrs. Obama was here to show her support of military families. Asha took this photo at the beginning of the presentation.

CONGRATULATIONS - 91% of the seniors (2008-09) in Choctaw's IB program have officially been awarded their IB diploma. These students will receive 30 hours of college credit at any Florida University and a 100% Bright Futures scholarship to any Florida College.
